Ok this is something that I thought I would never do but I like the idea of it being journaling that I can do on my computer.
Today we played tag team church going because Lila has a mystery fever.
When Lila gets a fever it is actually kind of peaceful around here. I guess that isn't very nice but it is the truth. She gets purple hands and feet when she is ferverish.
The first time it happened I freaked out and had her at emergency but now I know it is just the way her body fights a fever.
I am feeling very grateful for a very easy baby. Tessa is such a joy she smiles at everyone and she is so easy going. I often find her asleep on the floor when she has been playing. Sometimes I forget about her. She is incredibly vocal too. I was at the Canadian Down syndrome conference and ended up on the front row as the speaker was very popular. She was especially talkitive and the Speaker would acknowledge her musings I kept telling her to be quiet and he kept reassuring me that she was fine in front of probably 150 people. After 20 minutes of this he asks if he can hold her so I agreed and he kept speaking. He held her for probably 15 minutes. He really seemed to enjoy her. A few people took pictures as the little interaction was sweet.
I just feel lucky!
